MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted through his worldwide reach. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca is the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular track Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo comes from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about playing music as an obligation. As a child, he was taught to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. The initial goal was to be a vet However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he found his talents for singing, and the result changed the course his life.
