Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now an Filipino American performer, comedian, television host and model. Panganiban was dubbed as the queen of Drama across various media. The patient became septic and suffered numerous organ failures, which included her kidneys, which failed to fully recover. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After nearly 80 days in the hospital, from death to recovery, she finally got home, however the course of her life changed forever. Angelica's entire life was transformed after she was diagnosed with dialysis of the kidney. The donor kidney from her mom. Angelica, along with her mom underwent successful kidney transplantation on the 13th of September, 2013 at two fantastic hospitals located right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston.
