Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, and commenced more serious training in singing when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After 2000, she emigrated to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is passionate about singing, music as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana was a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance songs from Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly among the younger generation, for keeping this music alive.
